David Allen, Chief Technology Officer

As i365’s Chief Technology Officer, David Allen leads the company’s technology vision, architecture, and research and development. He also manages the company’s infrastructure, including operations, security, and IT.

David has over 25 years’ experience as an IT leader, playing key roles with high-volume, high-availability service providers in the financial services and technology industries. Prior to i365, David was Visa’s first CTO, responsible for technology strategy, enterprise architecture, technology planning, and innovation. He led efforts to introduce an enterprise architecture that reduced IT complexity and costs, improved alignment between IT and business, and drove strategy, all of which enabled business growth.

David has also held senior positions at several financial services firms, including Instinet Corporation and the Reuters Group, where he led product development and architecture. He has consulted extensively for companies from startups to the Fortune 100, from venture capital and private equity firms to Bain & Company. He also has been a member of advisory boards for companies including Hewlett-Packard, Intel, and CipherOptics.
